For software, we can simply provide training to End Users. \nFor the system, in addition to training, there is a need to have Change Management<br \/>\ndone to achieve the successful implementation of the system, namely: \n<ul>\n<li> Socialization to the End User <\/ li>\n<li> Encourage early involvement from End User <\/ li>\n<li>Build a user-oriented ECM <\/ li>\n<li> Reward <\/ li><br \/>\n<\/ Ul>\nSocialization to End Users. \n<span\n style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Socialization<\/span><br \/>\nneeds to be done so that users have the correct expectations of system.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">And User<\/span><br \/>\ncan imagine how the activities to be conducted in later date.<br \/>\nBasically, human beings tend to be reluctant to change in everything,<br \/>\nincluding the day-to-day office activities.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nSocialization could reduce rejection from End Users. Socialization can<br \/>\nbe done through : \nForum that is attended by the management, to provide a signal that<br \/>\nimplementation of this system is supported by the management.\nTop-Down Approach is tend to be more successful in system implementation. In<br \/>\nthis forum do not discuss technically about the ECM system, but rather<br \/>\nto emphasize the benefits of this <span\n style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ECM <\/span><br \/>\nBesides forum, then it could be done through a notification via company<br \/>\nmagazine or company newsletter \nEncourage early involvement from End User <br \/>\nFrom the kick off the project, the End User must always be involved.<br \/>\n\nThey can be questioned useful inputs for them. In this way, End User<br \/>\nhave a sense of belonging to this system. Their inputs may not possible<br \/>\nto be all fulfilled, but at least by involving them, they will more<br \/>\nhave an interest in this system. \nA User-Oriented <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ECM<\/span>\nThe majority of ECM can be customized according to need. However, the most important is how<br \/>\nto make a more user friendly ECM system. Starting from little things<br \/>\nlike <br \/>\nWhat information must be displayed on the frontpage, when the user<br \/>\nfirst login<br \/>\nFolder structure for the division in the <span\n style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ECM<\/span> must be<br \/>\nadapted to the structure an existing folder on the computer each End<br \/>\nUser.\nReward \nTo further motivate the End User, we could also use rewards, such as :<br \/>\nthe first division that use full <span\n style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ECM<\/span><br \/>\nfor office activities, will get a reward eg shopping vouchers with a<br \/>\nspecific value for each staff. \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System Implementation is different with software implementation.
